This Privacy Policy applies specifically to the mobile application Monsoon: The Word Game (the “App”), developed and published by Chekarto (“we”, “us”, or “our”).

We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Policy explains what information the App may collect, how it is used, and your rights.

Monsoon does not collect, store, or share personal information directly.  

The App does not require: 

• User accounts 

• Registration

• Login credentials

However, limited non-personal information may be collected automatically through third-party services, including:

• Device type and model

• Operating system version

• App usage statistics

• Crash and diagnostic data

This information is non-identifiable and used solely to improve performance, stability, and user experience.

2. In-App Purchases

Monsoon offers an optional one-time in-app purchase to unlock unlimited play.

All payment processing is handled securely by Google Play.

We do not collect, store, or have access to:

• Credit card information

• Billing addresses

• Financial account details

• Transaction data

All billing matters are governed by Google Play’s terms and policies.

3. Third-Party Services

The App may use trusted third-party services, including:

• Google Play Services

• Google Analytics for Firebase (if enabled)

• Firebase Crashlytics

These services may collect limited device-level information necessary for app functionality, diagnostics, and analytics.

Each provider maintains its own Privacy Policy. We encourage users to review them.

4. Advertising

Monsoon does not currently display advertising.

If advertising is introduced in a future version, this Privacy Policy will be updated accordingly. 

5. Children’s Privacy

Monsoon is not directed toward children under the age of 13.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

If we become aware that personal data has been collected from a child, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.

6. Data Storage & Security

We do not collect or store personal data on our own servers.

Any non-personal diagnostic or analytics data collected through third-party services is processed securely under their respective policies.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights regarding data collected by third-party services used in the App.

Because we do not collect personal data directly, requests relating to payment information or device analytics may need to be directed to the relevant third-party provider (eg. Google).

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.

Changes will be posted on this page, and the “Last Updated” date will be revised.

Continued use of the App after changes indicates acceptance of the updated Policy.
